In standard drive mode around Kuala Lumpur, the eMas 7 feels composed and easy to place. The steering is light without being vague, which matters when you are navigating Jalan Ampang or squeezing into a Pavilion parking bay.

The eMas 7 Long Range AWD supports up to 150 kW DC fast charging. During our test at a ChargEV 150 kW station in Bangsar, we recorded a peak charge rate of 138 kW — close to the rated maximum, which is impressive.
Charging from 20% to 80% took approximately 35 minutes. A full charge from near-empty to 100% took around 65 minutes at the fast charger. For home charging using a 7.4 kW AC wallbox, a full charge overnight (from 20%) takes approximately 11–12 hours — perfectly manageable if you plug in before bed.
Interior, Tech & Comfort
Step inside the eMas 7 and the quality uplift over previous Proton models is immediately apparent. The dashboard is dominated by a 15.4-inch central touchscreen running a customised version of the Flyme Auto infotainment system, paired with a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster.
